Using the College Football Predictions.
Ray C. Fair and John F. Oster have a system that combines other systems to get predictions. It's described in A Combined Football Ranking System and Comparing the Predictive Information Content of College Football Rankings. Send comments to: ray.fair@yale.edu.
However, these analyses should not be used for gambling. The following is from Faith and Practice (Adopted 1955; Revised 1972) published by the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
GAMBLING.
As a personal practice, gambling tends to become a habit whose grip grows stronger. It can lead to tragic consequences: individual characters demoralized; families made destitute by persistent gambling in hope of an elusive fortune; economic life for whole communities made poorer. Habitual gambling, with its undue demands on one's time and attention, is not in accord with Friends' testimony and simplicity.
Friends are advised to refrain scrupulously from every practice which may be a first step toward habitual gambling. They should decline to participate in raffles for charitable purposes, making, if they wish, outright contributions while rejecting the chance of a gain disproportionate to the contribution. They are urged to abstain from conventional forms of gambling, as at horse and dog tracks, in lotteries, and in games of chance. Even friendly games of cards for money stakes may have serious consequences and in any case may tend to encourage the gambling habit. For help see Gamblers Anonymous.

NFL Point Spread Pick.
Well, we made it to the end of the season. It’s sad to see the NFL winding down, but we’ve still got one great game left as the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers square off in the Super Bowl. Patrick Mahomes will get his chance at revenge on Tom Brady after falling to him in the AFC Championship game two seasons ago.
Oddsmakers have the Chiefs as a three-point favorite, which feels a bit light to me for several reasons. One factor to keep in mind here is that the game is being played in the Buccaneers’ stadium, although I don’t think there will be any home-field advantage to speak of. There will be a limited amount of fans at the game, and many of those tickets are being given away by the league. It’s not as if there is going to be a huge contingent of loud Bucs fans, and if anything I wouldn’t be surprised if Chiefs fans end up outnumbering them.
Moving to the on-field matchup, I don’t see how the Chiefs fail to have success throwing the ball. Tampa’s young secondary is exploitable, and every time they’ve faced a quarterback who can push it downfield they’ve been exposed. They might have looked good against an aging Drew Brees with a torn labrum, but the week before that they made Taylor Heinicke look like a franchise quarterback. The Chiefs won by three points when these teams played in Tampa during the regular season, but the game wasn’t as close as that final score indicates. Kansas City was up 17 in the fourth quarter before a couple of late Bucs touchdowns closed the margin. Remember, this is a Tampa Bay team that won all of one game against teams with winning records during the regular season and their playoff run has been very flukey thus far. Brady was mostly horrible against Green Bay as he tossed three interceptions, and it took an extreme series of miscues by the Packers for them to win that game. Their luck may finally run out here.
NFL Game Totals Pick.
The under also makes some sense here because everybody seems to be underrating this Chiefs defense. Kansas City defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo used the regular season to tinker with his schemes, and he’s been a wizard so far in the playoffs. He just completely shut down Josh Allen and that vaunted Buffalo passing game, limiting Allen to just 6.0 yards per attempt– and that number actually got inflated a lot by garbage time. Again, Brady hasn’t actually played well the past couple of weeks; his opponents just gifted him countless easy opportunities. Against the Saints, Tampa Bay’s three touchdown drives went for a combined 63 yards because of the short fields they were given off turnovers. Playing the Chiefs now, they aren’t going to be so fortunate with the starting field position.
While I think the Chiefs’ offense will have opportunities for success, they aren’t going to cover this number by themselves. Tampa Bay’s pass-rush could potentially pose some problems, especially with Mahomes less mobile due to the turf toe he is dealing with. Those problems will only be exacerbated by the absence of left tackle Eric Fisher, who tore his Achilles in the AFC Championship game. This Kansas City secondary is legit and their pass-rush really came alive against Buffalo. The Buccaneers’ defensive front, with the recently healed Vita Vea, should wreak enough havoc to keep this one from going over a total in the mid-50s.

The Home Of Free Expert NFL Picks For The 2020/21 Season.
Even though there are just 17 weeks in the regular season with a maximum of 16 games per week, NFL betting is easily the most popular North American sports wager. NFL point spreads and season win total prop bets are one of the few in the major sports that are openly discussed by announcers and fans alike. Because of betting, and the popularity of fantasy football, every single game of the NFL season is important, widely discussed, analyzed, and a great opportunity to get in on the action with our free NFL expert picks.
Free NFL Picks Explained.
There’s almost an infinite way to bet on the NFL, from NFL picks against the spread, over unders, parlays , prop bets , daily fantasy sports, or even scoreboard squares, there is a wager type for every kind of football fan. Some bettors like to specialize in a single particular type of NFL pick, while others like to be diverse and wager as many ways as they can on a game. Both types of players can be successful with a disciplined and calculated strategy which is the great thing about NFL betting.
Free NFL Picks Against the Spread.
NFL Over / Under Free NFL Picks.
When you aren’t 100% confident in which team is going to win in an NFL game, or would rather wager on the game, rather than a team, another exciting way to still get in on the action is with totals wagers. In these bets you don’t take a side, but whether the two teams will combine to score over or under the total number of points that the oddsmakers have set. This is why last-second field goals in 24 point blowouts are still edge-of-your-seat moments as they can push the total over or under the set line. We preview every game of the NFL season, providing expert insight into the game alongside NFL picks which will always include a pick on the over/under market in each game of the NFL season.

NFL Schedule 2020/21.
Unlike other sports that have had their seasons widely disrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic, With the NFL season not due to start until August 2020, it is not yet known the implications the recent events will have on the 2020 NFL schedule. As things stand, the NFL season is expected to start on the 10th September with the Super Bowl Champions, Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium. The NFL regular season schedule is expected to run as normal, with 17 game weeks through until January 3rd, 2021, with the Wild Card round of the playoffs scheduled for the weekend after, across the 9th and 10th January 2021. Super Bowl LV is scheduled for February 7th, at Raymond James Stadium, the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

2020 NFL win totals, odds, predictions, best bets: Proven model picks under 9 wins for Packers.
SportsLine's advanced computer model simulated the entire 2020 NFL season 10,000 times.
The Cowboys and 49ers dominated the NFC at various stages during the 70s, 80s and 90s. After building talented rosters over the last several years, both sides are hoping to see similar results in the new decade. In recent days, both teams made major moves, as the 49ers gave George Kittle a five-year, $75 million extension, while the Cowboys signed free agent defensive end Everson Griffen to a one-year, $6 million deal.
At William Hill, the 49ers are tied with the Saints for the highest 2020 NFL win totals in the NFC (10.5) while the Cowboys are tied with three other teams for third in the conference at 9.5. Meanwhile, the Ravens and Chiefs are tied at the top of the league with NFL win totals 2020 of 11.5. Before making any NFL picks on 2020 season-long win totals, be sure to see the latest NFL predictions from SportsLine's proven computer model.
The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NFL game 10,000 times and has crushed human experts on a consistent basis. Since its 2015 inception, the model is up over $7,000 for $100 players on its top-rated NFL picks.
And when it comes to NFL win totals, the model is coming off another banner year. In 2019, it went 18-11 on its over-under picks, with three pushes.
Now, the model has generated each team's projected win total, and in many cases it's strikingly different than the Vegas line. You can head to SportsLine to see the picks.
The model's top 2020 NFL win total predictions.
The model says you should go under nine wins for the Green Bay Packers. In fact, after 10,000 simulations, the Packers average 8.1 wins, meaning they fail to meet their total by nearly a full game.
The Packers had an opportunity to add a dynamic weapon to an offense that lacked explosiveness despite making it to the NFC Championship Game, and that's what quarterback Aaron Rodgers thought he was getting when the franchise traded up in the 2020 NFL Draft. Instead, they selected Utah State quarterback Jordan Love.
Green Bay ranked ninth in total defense in 2019, with Preston Smith and Za'Darius Smith completely revitalizing the team's pass rush with 25.5 combined sacks. However, the offense held them back at times and finished last year ranked 15th in total offense and 18th in scoring.
Adding support for Rodgers, Aaron Jones and Davante Adams on that side of the ball, either in free agency or via the draft, would have put the Packers into a much better position to replicate their 2019 success. Instead, their biggest offseason addition was wide receiver Devin Funchess, who elected to opt out of the 2020 season because of the coronavirus pandemic. Now, the Packers will take on a first-place schedule and the model projects they'll struggle to get to their nine-win total.
How to make 2020 NFL win total picks.
The model also generated huge disparities on other teams, including the Eagles. Philadelphia posted nine wins a year ago and saw a full 16-game season from quarterback Carson Wentz. Oddsmakers set Philly's 2020 win total at 9.5, and the projection model has a strong opinion on the team's fortunes. You can see every projected win total for every team right here.
So which teams sail past their projected 2020 NFL win totals? What is the model's surprising forecast for the Eagles? And how many wins will every single NFL team have this season? Visit SportsLine now to get the best season win total bets, plus see every team's projected record, all from the proven computer model that crushed its NFL win total picks last year.

Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears - 9/13/20 NFL Pick, Odds, and Prediction.

Chicago Bears (0-0) at Detroit Lions (0-0)
NFL Football: Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 1:00 pm (Ford Field)
The Line: Detroit Lions -3 -- Over/Under: 44 Click to Get Latest Betting Odds.
The Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions meet in opening week NFL action in an NFC North division matchup from Ford Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Chicago Bears come into the 2020 season looking to shake off a disappointing 2019 season that saw the Bears fall back from an NFC North crown and a 12-4 record in 2018 to a 8-8 record in 2019, missing the playoffs for the 8th time in the last 9 seasons. Mitch Trubisky is back under center for the Bears this season after taking a step back in 2019, throwing for 3,138 yards, 17 touchdowns and 10 picks on 63.2% passing. The Bears made a corresponding move in the offseason bringing in former Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles, but Trubisky was confirmed to be the Bears’ starting quarterback for week one. David Montgomery had a solid rookie campaign for the Bears, logging 889 rushing yards with 6 TDs while Tarik Cohen was used more as a receiving back, catching 79 balls out of Chicago’s backfield for 456 yards. Allen Robinson was the top receiver tor the Bears with 1,147 yards and 7 touchdowns while Anthony Miller had 656 receiving yards but is coming off of shoulder surgery, leaving the Bears to try to find a fix at tight end by signing Jimmy Graham to a two-year deal and drafting the top tight end in the draft, taking Cole Kmet out of Notre Dame in the second round. Defensively, the Bears return some pieces that will be key to taking a step forward in 2020, bringing back Akiem Hicks on the defensive line, Khalil Mack in the linebacking corps and Kyle Fuller and Eddie Jackson in the secondary. The Bears ran out of patience with Leonard Floyd, so Chicago decided to bring in Robert Quinn and his 11.5 sacks from 2019 to try to fill in. Roquan Smith and Danny Trevathan are also back in the middle linebacking spots, but the big question mark for the Bears is who is going to replace Prince Amukamara in the secondary, but pieces are there to plug in as well like Artie Burns and Jaylon Johnson.
Chicago is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 road games while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games as a road underdog. Detroit is 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite while the over is 12-1 in their last 13 week 1 matchups. Chicago is 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings between these two teams in Detroit.
This is one of the harder opening week games to call as it’s a division game to begin with and these two really don’t like each other as it is. With that said, I think the Lions hold a distinct edge offensively, and while Chicago has the edge on defense, the parts are there for the Lions to have the success on that side of the ball and maybe finally live up to the hype that a Matt Patricia defense would have associated with it. I think the Lions could be a team to watch for this season, so I’ll lay the field goal with the Lions here.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns - 9/13/20 NFL Pick, Odds, and Prediction.

The Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens meet Sunday in week 1 NFL action at M&T Bank Stadium.
The Cleveland Browns lost four of their final five games last season and were forced to settle for a disappointing six victories. The Browns are sexy on paper with players such as Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham Jr. and Nick Chubb on offense. The Browns also have notable names such as Myles Garrett, Olivier Vernon, Karl Joseph and Greedy Williams on defense. The talent is there for the Browns to be much better than what they’ve been over the last two decades. However, it seems to be the same old Browns every year no matter who is on the field or who the head coach is. The Browns have made the playoffs just once since the 1995 season and have gone through countless head coaches during that span. At some point you have to see it to believe it and that’s kind of where I’m at with the Browns. There’s a lot to like in Cleveland, but I don’t trust this franchise for obvious reasons.
The Baltimore Ravens won 14 games last season and had things end in the divisional round of the playoffs. The Ravens built an offense around quarterback Lamar Jackson, and it led to him throwing for 3,100 yards and 36 touchdowns while also running for 1,200 yards and seven touchdowns. Defenses should be able to do a better job of slowing things down with an another offseason of tape, but Jackson is in a great spot and is going to be impossible to defend if he keeps having success with his arm. The addition of rookie running back J.K. Dobbins only makes the Ravens offense that much more explosive, and he provides some lightning to Mark Ingram’s thunder. Defensively, Calais Campbell makes the Ravens much stronger along the defensive line and rookie linebacker Patrick Queen is a great fit to the second level. The Baltimore Ravens should be considered a top-five team this season in terms of legit Super Bowl contenders.
The Browns are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 road games, 9-19-1 ATS in their last 29 vs. AFC North and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Ravens are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games as a favorite, 5-11 ATS in their last 16 home games and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The under is 4-1 in Ravens last 5 games as a favorite. The under is 8-2 in Browns last 10 games as an underdog. The Browns are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings in Baltimore. The road team is 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 meetings.
I like to play things cautious in the first week of the season until we're able to sink our teeth into the season and make sound bets. It's even more the case this season when we don't have a real training camp or preseason games to get more information. This is a lot of points to lay without knowing a whole lot of what to expect. However, the Cleveland Browns are 5-15 against the spread in their last 20 games when an underdog of seven or more points. If the Baltimore Ravens are anywhere close to what they were last season, this game could get ugly. I don't love big chalk in season openers, but the Browns have given us no reason to back them in these spots over the years.

Jets vs. Bills Predictions, Picks, Betting Tips 9/13/20.
Game: New York Jets at Buffalo Bills.
Date: 1 p.m., Sunday, September 13, 2020.
Location: New Era Field, Buffalo, NY.
TV: CBS.
Odds/Point Spread: Buffalo -6.0.
Total/Over-Under: 40.0.
It’s a little odd that the Jets and the Bills don’t have a stronger rivalry. Think about it: what is your most memorable moment from this series? Rex Ryan, in his first season with the Bills, eliminating the Jets from the playoffs in Week 17 back in 2015? Does that even crack your top 500 moments of the last decade of NFL football?
Free $60 in Member NFL Picks No Obligation Click Here.
This series is the definition of nondescript. These two teams have split the last 10 meetings. They’ve split the season series the last three years. And the road team has won four straight (and six of 10) over the course of the last five years.
The Jets-Bills series is the worst thing you can be in the entertainment business: boring.
It really doesn’t make any sense. The two teams have been division rivals for more than 50 years. They both play in the same state. They both hate the Patriots, and they both have the same “little brother complex” with regards to the Giants, New York’s favorite team. The Jets’ and Bills’ lack of rivalry is an affront to The Natural Order.
Despite a lack of interest from anyone involved, these two teams will square off to open the 2020 season. This isn’t an inconsequential game. With Tom Brady sunning himself in Tampa, the Jets, Bills and Dolphins all have a real sense of optimism in the AFC East race for the first time in years. And the winner of this clash will have an early leg up in the divisional race.
The stakes of this matchup may be even bigger than just an early lead in a four-month division race. Both teams will enter this game feeling pressure, but for different reasons. The Jets have been selling optimism and forward momentum all offseason. Adam Gase may be coaching for his job, and Sam Darnold, now in his third season, is reaching that put-up-or-shut-up point in his young career.
For the Bills, this game is crucial. Buffalo has spent the entire offseason being lauded as An Up-And-Coming Sleeper Team. The Bills have had an excellent offseason in general. And a Week 1 blowout of a division rival at home would make a statement that all the offseason hype was worth it.
The Bills are capable. Buffalo’s defense finished No. 2 in points allowed and No. 3 in total defense. And they actually got better this offseason, with Buffalo adding potential difference-makers at all three levels. Add their trade for Stefon Diggs, and a potential third-year breakout from ascending quarterback Josh Allen, and the Bills have all the making so a team on the verge of a breakthrough.
The Jets defense is no slouch. New York finished No. 7 in yards allowed last year despite getting absolutely no help from the offense. The Jets were a major statistical overachiever – winning seven games even though they were outscored by 83 total points on the season – and they won the last meeting with the Bills last December. The Bills may be trending upward. But New York isn’t scared of the Bills. And they absolutely aren’t scared of a trip to Orchard Park without fans in the stands.
New York is the underdog in this matchup, and the dog has won outright in eight of the last 10 meetings. The dog is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings and the road team is 4-0 ATS in the last four between these two teams.
I don’t love the Bills laying points. But I do think that this team is legit and that they are the best team in the AFC East. Early in the season I like to bet teams rather than numbers. I do like the Bills this season, and I think they are the top team in the East. I don’t like the Jets and I think that they have the look of a 5-11 or 6-10 team. This game won’t be at the top of my list to bet in Week 1, but it is a game in which I like the home team.
Who will win the Jets/Bills NFL game against the spread?

Giants vs. Cowboys line, analysis and predictions for all Week 17 NFL games.
This is my 27th year picking NFL games in The Post’s Bettor’s Guide, and right at the start, I’m going to lay it on the line — the New York Jets’ offensive line.
Joe Douglas promised Mike and Chris Darnold that he would protect their son, Sam. This past offseason, the Jets GM revamped the offensive line to the tune of four new starters — signing George Fant, Connor McGovern and Greg Van Roten as free agents and drafting 6-foot-7, 363-pound mountain Mekhi Becton.
The rough part for the Jets as they enter their opener Sunday at Buffalo is that this new order of beef has had little opportunity to marinate. There were no OTAs or minicamp, and no preseason games. The good news is that it won’t be hard for this offensive line to be an improvement over the last one.
I’ve liked what I’ve seen from Darnold in his first two seasons — when he’s had time to operate. He has enough help in Le’Veon Bell, Breshad Perriman, Jamison Crowder and others if the line can hold up against the likes of Ed Oliver, Jerry Hughes and Trent Murphy.
The Over/Under of 39¹/₂ is the lowest on the board, which tells me the oddsmakers may not think much of the Bills offense. And there will be no fans in the seats, no Bills Mafia. This looks to be a spread the Jets can cover — if the offensive line allows.
NFL picks for Week 1.
(home teams in CAPS)
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (-6¹/₂) over Miami Dolphins.
Nice to be able to get the Patriots at home at less than a touchdown. Intrigued by what Cam Newton can bring to the table, and this team will be looking to prove it can win without Tom Brady.
Cam Newton Getty Images.
Another new coach for the Browns! But maybe Kevin Stefanski will be the answer after the failures of Hue Jackson and Freddie Kitchens. He has a lot of talent and is worth a shot at more than a touchdown.
Las Vegas Raiders (-3) over CAROLINA PANTHERS.
This line has gotten uncomfortably high, and yes, I’m fading a debuting head coach after backing one in the game just above. But count me as skeptical of college-guy Matt Rhule coming in off no preseason in the first game after the Cam Newton era.
If a change of scenery can rejuvenate Todd Gurley, the Falcons could improve from 7-9. The Julio Jones-Calvin Ridley combo is excellent, and Matt Ryan should still have something left. It’ll be interesting to see Jamal Adams in neon green trim.
In The Post’s preview section, I predicted Under 5 on the Washington Football Team’s win total. This really does appear to be a train wreck of a season ahead. But with Chase Young joining Jonathan Allen, this team could have a good defense. And I smell a rat here. As VSiN’s Point Spread Weekly points out, there’s been reverse line movement toward Washington despite a majority of bets backing the Eagles.

The NFL’s 50 most fascinating people.
DETROIT LIONS (-3) over Chicago Bears.
Expecting a better season from the Lions if Matthew Stafford can stay healthy. He threw for 2,499 yards in eight games. Careful on this one, as the line is “right there” and there are dueling injuries of concern with Detroit WR Kenny Golladay (hamstring) and Chicago LB Khalil Mack (knee).
Indianapolis Colts (-7 ¹/₂) over JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS.
Philip Rivers is no dummy, as he relocated to a new home behind the best offensive line in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus. The Jaguars have shed so much talent in the past few years, the latest being Leonard Fournette and Yannick Ngakoue.
U.S. Bank Stadium is one that figures to be a little less daunting without fans doing the Skol chant. The Vikings will miss Stefon Diggs, and I’m thinking Aaron Rodgers was motivated by the Packers’ drafting of Jordan Love in the first round.
Happy to take a chance on Joe Burrow in his debut as a home ’dog. He has some decent weapons in Cincinnati, and the Chargers are in uncharted territory after 14 seasons with Philip Rivers as the starter.
Niners won by three and 10 points in 2019’s matchups. Willing to ante up to see what Kyler Murray can do with DeAndre Hopkins, and just how good Isaiah Simmons is.
Tom Brady picked a new team that is loaded with offensive weapons and likely would have won a lot more had Jameis Winston not thrown 30 interceptions last season. Great matchup with Drew Brees. The Superdome is another venue known for loud fans who will not be there.
Dallas Cowboys (-2¹/₂) over LOS ANGELES RAMS.
The Rams open beautiful SoFi Stadium without fans, which is a shame, and they also have not had a chance to play even a preseason game there. Expecting a huge season from $31.4 million man Dak Prescott, who adds CeeDee Lamb to a big-time attack.
Monday Night Football.
Pittsburgh Steelers (-6) over NEW YORK GIANTS.
Joe Judge should be an improvement on Ben McAdoo and Pat Shurmur, but man this is a tough introduction for a first-time head coach, with a modest spread, to boot. The Giants D will need to find someone who can harass Ben Roethlisberger.
Tennessee Titans (-2) over DENVER BRONCOS.
Von Miller’s injury just before the start of the season is a rough one for the Broncos. With LB Bradley Chubb also hurting, looks like a bad matchup against Derrick Henry and the rugged Titans.
Best bets: Titans, Bengals, Cowboys Lock of the week: Titans (Locks 7-13 in 2019) Thursday: Chiefs (W)

CORRECT SCORE TIPS DAILY EXPLAINED.
Correct Score bets are a popular way to bet on football matches. The bet is fairly straightforward, just select the correct score and if the score at the end of the game matches your prediction you’re a winner. In football matches where extra time is possible, correct score bets end at the end of 90 minutes plus injury time. Extra time doesn’t count.
Betting on correct scores is one of the most popular soccer markets for recreational bettors. In this article we analyse correct score betting using “true” score odds. Is correct score betting profitable? Read on to find out.
Correct score betting.
A popular market in football betting is predicting the final score of a game. Unlike straight match odds for which there are just three possible outcomes – home, draw or away – there are many more possible scores.
Unsurprisingly, the odds for correct score betting are considerably longer than the match odds because each possible score has a much lower chance of happening than just a straight home, draw or away result. Even the most common scores – 1-1, 1-0 and 2-1 – have all occurred less than 12% of the time throughout English football league history.
Betting on correct scores: Summing up.
Many bettors love the appeal of a big win offered by correct score betting, and can be easily fooled by success. However, those attracted by the much longer odds available must recognise that not only will they have a far smaller chance of winning, but also the way the bookmakers manipulate their odds ensures that they will potentially be facing a far larger expected disadvantage.
True, there is more opportunity for bookmakers to make bigger errors, but that is one of the reasons why they make the higher correct score odds so unfair.

Weekly picks from USA TODAY Sports' NFL staff.
Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger is 7-1 all-time in Cincinnati. (Photo: Joe Robbins, Getty Images)
It's tough to pick the winners in what looks to be a very competitive Week 7.
This week's marquee matchup features two 5-1 clubs — and the only ones in the AFC with winning records — as the Baltimore Ravens lock up with the Houston Texans. However the game has lost some juice now that both teams have lost their defensive heartbeats, linebackers Ray Lewis and Brian Cushing, over the past two weeks.
The rest of the 13-game slate features five other contests between teams with .500 records or better and six divisional scrapes, including both weekend-capping games — the Pittsburgh Steelers visit Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night while the Chicago Bears host the Detroit Lions on Monday.

USA TODAY Sports' Week 4 NFL picks: Can Patriots knock Chiefs from unbeaten ranks?
SportsPulse: Lorenzo's picks have been like clock work going 2-1 each of the first three weeks of the season. For Week 4 he gives his three locks hoping to finally have the perfect weekend. USA TODAY.
Week 4 of the NFL season has already taken a turn, the only matchup of unbeaten teams – Steelers at Titans – postponed Thursday after another Tennessee player tested positive for COVID-19.
Saturday, the highly anticipated Patriots-Chiefs game was delayed due to more COVID-19 positives – though the league still hopes to stage it Monday or Tuesday. If that happens, New England will be without QB Cam Newton, according to multiple reports, because he has the virus.
But the NFL forges ahead, and the schedule should still provide matchups worthy of anticipation. Browns at Cowboys should be fun to watch as QBs Baker Mayfield and Dak Prescott face off for the first time in a meeting of clubs with first-year head coaches.
The Bills head to Las Vegas for the first time, looking to improve to 4-0 in the AFC East while knocking the Raiders (2-1) back down to .500.

After 4-0 weekend, can Pro Picks get Super Bowl teams right?
Not to brag — well, yes, to BRAG — Pro Picks was perfect straight up last weekend, selecting all four winners in the NFL's divisional round.
The problem with conference championship weekend is simple: We are torn. Any of the four not only can get to the Super Bowl, but win it.
Some might want to evaluate the remaining teams by quarterback pedigree, from Tom Brady to Aaron Rodgers to Patrick Mahomes to Josh Allen. Others will examine the coaches: Andy Reid, Sean McDermott, Bruce Arians and Matt LaFleur.
Still others pore through stats.
And then there's the old Ouija board.
We're a bit more scientific. But only a bit.
TAMPA BAY (plus 3 1/2) at GREEN BAY.
Such a delicious menu. Starting with Brady and Rodgers, naturally. Rodgers and Brady have never faced off in the postseason.
Super Bowls for much of the last two decades have been about Brady. He proved his greatness in taking New England to nine of them, winning six. He's recertifying that in his first season with the Buccaneers (13-5).
As a reminder, Brady holds postseason records for starts (43), victories (32), completions (1,065), passing yards (11,968), passing touchdowns (77). Only Peyton Manning, Kurt Warner and Craig Morton led two separate franchises into the Super Bowl.
This is the best array of offensive talent with Brady since he had Randy Moss in the record-setting 2007 season. And while Tampa Bay's defense isn't overpowering, it's the most solid of the four units still playing, particularly at linebacker.
Rodgers is in the midst of perhaps his best season, and he has already won two NFL MVP awards as well as the 2010 league title. His work with favorite receiver and fellow All-Pro Davante Adams has been exemplary, catapulting Green Bay to a second straight 13-3 mark.
“A lot of people didn’t think we’d be back here after last season,” Rodgers said. “We got a lot of interesting comments last year about us being the worst 13-3 team that people had seen. Not the same type of comments this year.”
Nope. The Packers are steady enough on defense, though they can be vulnerable against the run. They play such precise football, yet with imagination, a difficult blend.
It's going to be cold but probably not frigid at Lambeau Field, not that Brady and Rob Gronkowski will be uncomfortable. And the Bucs have won a franchise-record seven consecutive road games, including playoff wins at Washington and New Orleans.
Will they head back to Tampa to appear in a Super Bowl at their home stadium, an NFL first?
PACKERS 30, BUCCANEERS 27.
BUFFALO (plus 3 1/2) at KANSAS CITY.
As the reigning champions seek to become the first to repeat since Brady and the Patriots for the 2003 and 2004 seasons, they have to be at least a bit concerned that Mahomes left last week's victory with a concussion. The Chiefs aren't going to advance with Chad Henne at the helm.
Of course, Mahomes could be fine and as magical as usual. He has all the targets he needs in unanimous All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce, another All-Pro in WR Tyreek Hill, and company. Kansas City's defense, led by yet another All-Pro in safety Tyrann Mathieu, gets overlooked for how improved it is.
The Chiefs are at home, will have some 17,000 very loud fans on hand, and carry the confidence and swagger from what they achieved last season.
And here comes Buffalo, which has been the AFC's best team the last two months. There is a solid balance between offense and defense on a roster that has matured impressively. The Allen to league receptions leader Stefon Diggs connection is as good as Rodgers to Adams. Allen is more of a threat to run for big plays than Mahomes — though not by much if Mahomes is healthy — and also has a deep receiving corps.
Where Buffalo must show its skill most is in pass coverage. Cornerback Tre'Davious White is superb, and the rest of the relatively unnoticed secondary is very capable. Look for plenty of big plays in this one.
We swear that Bills Mafia is not pressuring us. Yet .
BILLS 30, CHIEFS 27.

NFL picks against the spread, Week 8: Will the Steelers cover against the Ravens?
We’re on to Week 8 in the NFL, with the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers facing off on Thursday. That means it’s time once again for our weekly look at the point spreads in order to help you win some money.
Last week, Steven Ruiz went 7-6-1 (51-46-5 overall) and Charles Curtis went 8-5-1 (52-45-5 overall) .
We now go to each of them for comments before their picks.
Charles: Look at us! This is the the most intriguing race in football, more NFC West than NFC East at this point. Overall: if you’re listening to us, you’re winning money.
Steven: And yet … I’m disappointed. I’m losing to Charles. It’s unacceptable and I vow to do better.
(All bets courtesy of BetMGM)
(NOTE: Eagles-Cowboys was off the board as of publishing.)
Falcons at Panthers (-2.5)
Charles: Panthers.
Carolina is clearly the better team on the defensive side of the ball and it feels like Teddy Bridgewater is rounding into form with his receivers, so I’ll take the favorites.
Steven: Panthers.
Carolina’s offense looks good under Joe Brady and the defense seemed to have Atlanta’s number in the recent matchup. A little home-field advantage with a quick turnaround doesn’t hurt, either.
Charles: Colts.
This one was tougher than it initially looked on paper. But the Colts are coming off the bye and I just don’t think the Lions do much against their D.
Steven: Colts.
I don’t know how to feel about either of these teams, to be honest. The Colts are clearly better but their insistence on running the football has held the offense back, and the Lions offense has gotten a boost from Kenny Golladay’s return from injury. But it’s the Lions, and you can’t go wrong betting against them.
Vikings at Packers (-7)
(AP Photo/Jim Mone)
Charles: Packers.
There is a chance for a backdoor cover here with the Vikings throwing the ball a ton and Dalvin Cook possibly back. But the Minnesota defense is so bad, I’m not buying it.
Steven: Packers.
The Vikings are in “fire sale” mode, which tells you everything you need to know about the coaching staff’s confidence in this team. Aaron Rodgers had a field day against this secondary in Week 1 and I don’t expect things to change.
Patriots at Bills (-3.5)
Charles: Patriots.
I bet on the Pats last and lost. I’m doubling down for one more week to cover simply because Bill Belichick is their coach. Is that dumb? Possibly.
Steven: Patriots.
It’s supposed to be windy in Buffalo on Sunday which could even things out for the passing games. If this turns into a matchup of run games, New England might have the advantage. Take the points.
Charles: Titans.
I’m pretty confident with this one — Derrick Henry runs all day, the defense clamps down on Joe Burrow.
Steven: Titans.
I’m with Charles. The Bengals have had a hard time slowing down play-action-heavy offenses — see: the Cleveland games — and nobody is doing that better than the Titans right now.
Raiders at Browns (-3)
(AP Photo/Reed Hoffmann)
Charles: Raiders.
Do we really believe in what we saw last week out of the Browns? They nearly lost to the Bengals. So I’ll back the road underdogs.
Steven: Browns.
The Raiders don’t have the defense to force Baker Mayfield to beat them on his own. Cleveland should have success on the ground, which will keep Mayfield out of third-and-long.
Jets at Chiefs (-19.5)
Charles: Chiefs.
Hey, the Jets covered last week against the Bills! Well, the Chiefs aren’t the Bills. Plain and simple.
Steven: Chiefs.
The Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid. The Jets have Sam Darnold and Adam Gase. That’s enough for me to lay the 19.5 points.
Charles: Rams.
It feels like this line is a tad too small. Tua Tagovailoa is making his first start, and I believe in the Rams’ defense enough to be disruptive.
Steven: Rams.
We don’t know what to expect from Tua in his first start so taking the known commodity feels like the smart bet.
Steelers at Ravens (-4)
Charles: Steelers.
Ugh, this pick makes me really nervous. All I can think of is Ben Roethlisberger and his short throws being kept in check by Baltimore’s defense … but the last undefeated team being underdogs by four? Hmm.
Steven: Ravens.
I think we’re going to see the worst of Ben Roethlisberger who has been able to feast on bad defenses all season. The Ravens are going to pressure him and force him to throw into tight windows. I don’t think he’s capable.
Charles: Chargers.
The Broncos have beaten the Jets and Patriots (with Cam Newton struggling). So I’m not buying what they’re selling. Justin Herbert gets it done again.
Steven: Chargers.
I have fully bought into the Justin Herbert hype and Drew Lock hasn’t been any better than the backups who filled in for him earlier in the season. It will be a close, low-scoring game, but the Chargers just have more talent.
Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports.
Charles: Saints.
What? This is absurd. Yes, the Bears defense is good … but if the Saints score even 20 points, is Nick Foles going to get Chicago to 16? Nope.
Steven: Saints.
Drew Brees is back to playing at a high level and I just don’t think this Bears passing game is capable of exploiting New Orleans’ issues in the secondary.
49ers at Seahawks (-3.5)
Charles: 49ers.
I’ve said it week in and out — the Seahawks defense is vulnerable. The Niners are at a point where things are starting to click again, and they’ll at least cover here.
Steven: 49ers.
I don’t feel good about this pick, but I do feel good about Kyle Shanahan going up against this defense. That matchup alone will keep this one tight.
Charles: Buccaneers.
Wow, that’s a big spread. But do you really believe Daniel Jones won’t have like 43 turnovers against that defense? Didn’t think so.
Steven: Buccaneers.
I’m actually taking the over on those 43 turnovers. Jones might get strip-sacked 14 times in the first quarter alone. And the Giants defense will have no answer for this Bucs passing attack.

How to read Super Bowl 55 Odds.
The Kansas City Chiefs wil meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl 55 from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Feb. 7, 2021.
The Chiefs opened as -3.5 betting favorites while the Buccaneers are 3.5 underdogs.
After early wagers came in, most operators are holding Kansas City -3 (-120).
If you were to wager on Kansas City -3, you would have to lay 5/6 odds (Bet $120 to win $100) instead of your normal 10/11 juice (Bet $110 to win $100).
The return on Tampa Bay would be even-money (1/1) and a $100 wager would return $100.
The total or over-under on Super Bowl 55 is hovering between 56 and 57 points.
How to read NFL Las Vegas Odds.
The point-spread was developed to provide a balance for both teams involved in a contest to entice bettors to potentially back the weaker team and receive points. The two squads in a game are listed with a title, either a favorite or an underdog. The favorite is usually the perceived better team in the game, as backing them means giving up several points.
Ex. Bet $110 to win $100 (10% juice) Ex. Bet $100 to win $90.91 (10% juice)
It's not uncommon to see other values posted other than -10. Examples seen on the NFL Vegas Odds pages could include -08 , -12 , -15 and -20 . The -10 price is the most common value in the industry while many books offer reduced 'juice odds' and that would fall into the -08 category.
The lower-juice sportsbooks are normally found outside of the state Nevada. If you are in a state where sports betting is legal, please check out our online sportsbook directory to find the best and most secure places to make NFL bets.
Another number that’s posted on the NFL Las Vegas is the total or ‘over/under’ for the specific matchup. If the favorite is designated as the home team, then the total will be listed above and vice versa if the visitors are favorites.
All of the above numbers are listed next to the teams, and before each matchup is a Rotation number. The NFL Las Vegas Odds are listed in order of rotation and those numbers are generated and produced by the sportsbooks. Above each matchup and rotation is the Time of the game, which is subject to change. All game times are Eastern Standard Time.
NFL Open Line.
One of the best features on the NFL Vegas Odds is the Open Line. This numbers consists of the first betting line received from one of our Las Vegas or Global Sportsbooks. The opening line varies depending on the sportsbook but it provides a clear-cut rating that the oddsmakers use. If you’re betting on the NFL or any other sport, it’s a great idea to view the open line first.
VI Consensus NFL Line.
How do I bet on the Super Bowl?
We know that you can bet on the Super Bowl and all of NFL Futures or bet on the NFL Draft at any time of the year, but what’s the process? The future wager or the “Odds to Win” bet on the Super Bowl is correctly selecting a team to win an event that takes place at a later time. A bettor will have his wagered money tied up until there is an outcome and bettors will receive fixed odds when they place the wager. In the case of the Super Bowl, you’re not a winner or loser until you see zeros on the clock in the final game.
Most sportsbooks offer different ways to read to Super Bowl Odds. In the fractional NFL Futures Odds format below, you simply take the odds and multiply by the amount wagered.
Ex. Green Bay (8/1) to win the Super Bowl.
The Packers are listed as an 8/1 betting choice to win the Super Bowl. If you wager $100 on Green Bay to win the NFC and they capture the championship, then you would win $800 (8 ÷ 1 x 100). Your online betting account would then credit your account $900, which includes your win and stake ($100).
If you are in a state where online betting is legal, we encourage you to check out our sportsbook directory to find the most trustworthy and reputable sites and mobile apps to place your Super Bowl bets.

What are Correct Score Predictions?
correct score predictions bets are played dry. The player indicates the exact number of goals that both teams will score in the course of ninety regular minutes. Certainly a very dangerous game in the eyes of an expert. The professional player knows correct score tips are a great asset if well placed. We basically have two different approaches.
The first approach is mathematical, through the use of mathematical rules and formulas to create game systems that bring the player to the cashier. We can also call it the most nerdy approach. That point of view that only a fan tends to exploit.
The second approach is a little less mathematical but certainly no less methodical. You make predictions based on your knowledge of the teams that will take the field. It is an approach that relies heavily on factor c, which is luck. In the first case, however, what the player tries to do is eliminate luck as much as possible to try to be certain on the correct score.

Mike Francesa is handling his final ratings disaster better than expected.
The longtime WFAN drive-time host, who is leaving the time slot — for the second time — after 30 years, congratulated “The Michael Kay Show” for defeating him in the fall book, though he didn’t mention Kay or his co-hosts by name.
“Looked at the fall ratings book and I didn’t keep up my end of the bargain (finished second),” Francesa wrote on Twitter Tuesday. “I’m told all other WFAN day parts finished first. Congrats to them all! Also, congrats to sports competition for defeating me for first time ever. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.”
When ESPN NY claimed victory during the winter book earlier this year, Francesa snapped at the rival station because WFAN was victorious with its streaming number included.
“They didn’t win, they lost,” Francesa said in April. “If I lost, honestly, I would tell you I lost and move on. I feel utter pity for them that they would go to this length when they didn’t win. I feel sad for them, I really do.”

Mike Francesa congratulates Michael Kay after final ratings embarrassment.

Is Georgia's 2021 signing class actually complete?
Georgia did not add anybody new to its 2021 signing class on Wednesday's National Singing Day, but that does not necessarily mean the Bulldogs and Kirby Smart are done just yet.
In a National Signing Day interview on 680 The Fan, Smart hinted that the Dawgs may not yet be done with the class and outlined a few possible ways UGA may be able to still add some players.
"Well we're always looking," Smart said. "As soon as a kid pops in, kid jumps in from a different place, we're always looking and investigating guys. We're really slow to jump on.

High school football semifinals: Son of Swami makes his picks.
Highlights from Belleville's regional finals playoff win over West Bloomfield on Nov. 16, 2019. Detroit Free Press.
It is with a heavy heart — and empty stomach — that the Son of Swami approaches this week’s football semifinal games.
The heart has nothing to do with SOS’s overall playoff picks, although SOS isn’t pleased. The stomach comes into play with SOS’s destination this week.
You see, SOS is planning to attend the Belleville-Brighton game at Howell, which means he will not be attending the Division 1 semifinal game at Troy Athens.
The Davison-Sterling Heights Stevenson game should be good, but that really isn’t important here. The problem is SOS won’t be able to eat at the Athens’ concession stand, clearly the best concession stand in North America.
Grill master Rich Maziasz sent SOS the menu for Saturday’s game and the Athens Athletic Boosters have outdone themselves.
In addition to the world-famous Bobby D Specialty Burger — a cheeseburger with pulled pork and cole slaw, honoring Athens athletic director Bob Dowd — they have added the Fulchenator, a cheeseburger with Swiss cheese, pastrami and cole slaw, in recognition of district athletic director Tim Fulcher.
And then there's the MacChesky, a hamburger with four-cheese mac 'n' cheese, named for superintendent Dr. Richard Machesky.

The concession stand also features the standard fare of regular hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza, as well as anything you could possibly want to drink, including Cherry Coke and Diet Coke, which can be mixed on the soda dispenser.
A year ago, on SOS’s recommendation, former Detroit Catholic Central All-State player Ken Wandzel ate two Bobby D burgers and is still raving about it.
But SOS is turning his back on all of that to go to Howell, where athletic director John Young is now on the clock to get his concession stand in order.
SOS is coming off a 24-8 (75%) performance in the regional finals, raising his playoff record to 162-62 (72%).
Here are SOS’s semifinal selections, made while trying to figure out a way to get the Athens Athletic Boosters to add a delivery service.
All games are at 1 p.m. Saturday unless otherwise noted.
Division 1.
Brighton (10-2) vs. Belleville (12-0) at Howell: SOS understands that the past two times these teams have met, the game has come down to the final play. All SOS wants to know is, how does Brighton cover Deion Burks? Who blocks Damon Payne? Does anyone want to throw the ball near Andre Seldon? Belle Tire 33, Brighton Beach Memoires 23.
Utica Eisenhower quarterback Blake Rastigue runs the option against Davison on Nov. 15, 2019, in Ortonville. (Photo: Kirthmon F. Dozier, Detroit Free Press)
Sterling Heights Stevenson (8-4) vs. Davison (10-2) at Troy Athens: Stevenson, after finishing fourth in the ultra-tough MAC Red, is on the roll of all rolls. Giovanni El-Hadi has been a dominating defensive lineman for the Titans. The tough thing for the Stevenson defense — not only is Davison’s Brendan Sullivan a terrific passer, but Caleb Smith is also threat at running back. Davidson Freeway 28, Steve ‘N Son 21.
Division 2.
Muskegon Mona Shores (10-2) vs. Walled Lake Western (11-1) at Okemos: This game features a pair of outstanding quarterbacks: Mona Shores’ Caden Broersma and Western’s Zach Trainor. But Mona has no one who compares with Western receiver Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen, who has caught 75 passes for 1,546 yards and 18 TDs. Best Western 38, Mona Row the Boat to Shore 31.
Birmingham Seaholm (9-3) vs. Detroit King (10-2) at Novi (3 p.m., Saturday) : Seaholm’s veer offense can be a nightmare to prepare for, especially the way QB Caleb Knoer runs the show and the way Chaz Strecker plays with reckless abandon. But King’s Peny Boone is running like a Big Ten recruit that he is and the Crusaders' defense will adjust just fine. King of Wishful Thinking 37, Jennifer Hammond High 28.
Division 3.
DeWitt (10-2) vs. Muskegon (12-0) at East Kentwood: SOS didn’t see this one coming. Wasn’t this supposed to be a rebuilding year at DeWitt? Well, it didn’t take long. But SOS doesn’t think there is anywhere on earth besides Ford Field that Muskegon’s Cameron Martinez is going to end his high school career. Muskie’s Gone 41, DeWhat 33.
River Rouge high school defenders tackle Detroit Catholic Central's Danny Scott during first-half action Friday, Oct. 18, 2019 at River Rouge. (Photo: Kirthmon F. Dozier, Detroit Free Press)
River Rouge (11-1) vs. Chelsea (12-0) at Dearborn High: Chelsea advanced to the Division 4 final last season, but there is a big difference playing up a level. That hasn’t been a problem for the Bulldogs . until now. Rouge running back De'Andre Bulley is just that, a bully in the way he runs over defensive players. Rouge River 23, Jeff Daniels High 21.
Division 4.
Hudsonville Unity Christian (9-3) vs. Grand Rapids Catholic Central (11-1) at Jenison: Unity Christian, which won the Division 5 state title last season, has had a nice run up in D-4, but the crystal ball says the run is over. CC quarterback Joey Silveri may be only a sophomore, but he doesn’t play like one. Catholics in Grand Rapids 30, Unity Breakfast 27.
Flint Powers (10-2) vs. Birmingham Detroit Country Day (12-0) at Howell Parker Middle School: Donavan Franklin leads a lethal ground game for Powers. But Country Day has a balanced attack featuring the passing of Ahlon Mitchell and the running of Anthony Ammori. Country Dog 21, Flint Power & Light 17.
Division 5.
Lansing Catholic (11-1) vs. Kingsley (12-0) at Greenville: SOS acknowledges that Lansing Catholic coach Jim Ahern is the Quarterback Whisperer. You don’t get a run of quarterbacks this good without knowing what you’re doing. But Kingsley has three rugged running backs in Ayden Mullin, Owen Graves and Payson Caballero, and then there is QB Tyler Inthisone, who is also a playmaker. Fred Schramski High 28, Dantonio Catholic 24.
Detroit Denby (10-2) vs. Almont (12-0) at Walled Lake Central: You have to be really, really old — around SOS’s age — to remember that back in the 1960s, Denby pretty much ruled the PSL, playing in four of the final five Goodfellow Games against the Catholic League champ. Latrell Thompkins could have played on any of those teams. But if Almont continues to dominate in the trenches, it will be in the final. Almond Joy 21, Den B. 12.
Division 6.
Montague (10-2) vs. Maple City Glen Lake (11-1) at Clare: Glen Lake survived its trip to the U.P., but things get tougher this week. Montague has played a challenging schedule, and beating Ravenna in the playoffs after losing to the Bulldogs in the regular season says a lot. Quarterback Drew Collins will be difficult for Glen Lake to stop. Goo Goo Dolls 36, Glen Close 31.
Onsted (10-2) vs. Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central (10-1) at Ypsilanti Lincoln: St. Mary’s defense will have to find a way to control Onsted junior quarterback Dylan Terryberry, who has been extremely efficient this season. But the Onsted defense will have to contend with CC’s T-formation offense, which makes determining exactly which back has the ball an adventure — and which is why CC is averaging 35.7 points this season. Ray Lauwers High 34, Instead 26.
Division 7.
Pewamo-Westphalia (12-0) vs. Iron Mountain (12-0) at Superior Dome (7 p.m., Friday) : The last time these schools met was in the Division 3 boys basketball state final in March. In the final two minutes, the three officials seemed to completely lose their minds and made some incomprehensible calls that cost Iron Mountain the title. P-W won’t need any help this time. Pewamo Won’t Fail You 28, Izzo’s Mountain 24.
Cass City (11-1) vs. Jackson Lumen Christi (11-0) at Novi (11 a.m., Saturday) : It was a tremendous accomplishment for Cass City to claim its first regional title by beating Division 7 powerhouse Loyola, but this is a whole new ballgame. Lumen Christi won the past three Division 6 state titles and is headed back to Ford Field in search of title No. 12. Aluminum Foil 38, Momma Cass 23.
Division 8.
Beal City (11-1) vs. Ubly (10-2) at Mt. Pleasant: SOS is no football coach, but if he were Beal City’s defensive coordinator, he might want to make sure his unit keeps an eye on Carson Heleski. Why? Well, all young Mr. Heleski did last week against Saginaw Nouvel was carry the ball 37 times, gain 347 yards and score six touchdowns. Any more questions? Bubbly 41, Real City 33.
Fowler (11-1) vs. Reading (11-1) at Battle Creek Harper Creek: This is no cakewalk for defending state champ Reading. Fowler has a prolific running attack revolving around Kyle Snyder and quarterback Caiden Pung. Elijah Hill and Roger Hill can gain a lot of yards for Reading, which has brothers Ben and Nick Affholter to restore law and order. Reading, ‘Riting, ‘Rithmetic 24, Foul or Fair 21.

Hudsonville Unity Christian (9-3) vs. Grand Rapids Catholic Central (11-1) at Jenison: Unity Christian, which won the Division 5 state title last season, has had a nice run up in D-4, but the crystal ball says the run is over. Flint Powers (10-2) vs. Birmingham Detroit Country Day (12-0) at Howell Parker Middle School: Donavan Franklin leads a lethal ground game for Powers.

Winning Big In CFB, NFL & UFC!
Another amazing NFL weekend! I look forward to nailing both games Championship Weekend in the NFL. No one better in the NFL, college football , hockey and the UFC.
Who is Lee Sterling?
Unlike almost anyone in this business Lee actually played college football as a QB/Punter on the 1981 Southwest Texas State University now Texas State University FCS championship team. Before that Lee was a three sports captain & five sport letterman at Palmer Prep High School in Miami, FL. He is currently in the Palmer Sports Hall of Fame.
What sports does he bet on?
Lee handicaps the NFL, NCAAF, NBA, NCAAB, MLB, NHL & UFC.
What are his handicapping systems/methods?
Lee understands and can pick up nuances unlike anyone in the business. Because of his background playing college football he can tell when a QB has trouble against certain schemes, defenses & coordinators. He was one of the first people that picked up last season that defenses would play one side of the field in zone schemes and the other in man to man vs Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. He calls his study of game film SWMA. That stands for Strength Weakness Mismatch Analysis. When studying game film he can pick out how one team's strength will attack another team's weakness and how that affects the point spread. He also looks for value using math models and algorithms. Lee puts it all together and that's why he's had 26 out of 27 winning seasons in football and 24 out of 27 winning seasons in basketball.
What is his strategy for pick rating and bankroll management?
Never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any game, no matter what. Even a 9 or 10 unit game should never be played heavier than 5% of that said bankroll.
0.5% is a 1 & 2 unit play - free picks and opinion plays.
1% is a 3 & 4 unit play - strong opinion.
2% is a 5 & 6 unit play - backed by an advantage for one team plus the line is off at least 1 point.
3% is a 7 & 8 unit play - a strong mismatch for one team exists plus the line is off 1.5 to 2.5 points.
4-5% is a 9 & 10 unit play - often plays where there is huge information on injured players that the public isn't aware of. A mismatch of monumental proportion exists based on either those injuries or study based on how one team should dominate the other. These plays are rarely released and over a 13 year period have a winning percentage of 70% going 42-18.
What should I expect for pick volume and release time?
Lee Sterling will typically have 3-5 basketball picks per day, with weekend football cards featuring 5-7 plays per day.
You can expect football picks to be posted by Friday afternoon, and basketball selections to be out the morning of the game.

Lee has been a fixture on our show for over two decades. I keep trying to get rid of him, but I can’t! Why? He keeps winning!! He’s simply the best in the biz and going with anyone else would be silly! Don’t be silly!! Be smart!!
Horn FM- Austin,TX.
Lee’s the best…he’s been with us each season for more than a decade. He doesn’t just give out his great picks – his analysis and insights into the games are must listen appointment setting radio.
Fox Sports, Naples- Ft. Myers, FL.
Lee has been coming on our show for over 15 years. We appreciate that he comes on the show each week and picks the games that we want to analyze and forecast. Despite having to cater to our wants and needs he seems to hit new heights each year. In the five games plus his game of the week he picks each week he’s been over an astounding 60% during that time. Thanks for making our show better!
The Zone 97.7 Huntsville AL.
This year will mark the 15th year Lee has been a guest handicapper on my show in different markets. His clients won 17 of the 22 weeks last season and he picked almost 60% on my show last football & basketball season. I will continue to use him because of his outstanding record. He is the most entertaining and insightful handicapper in the business.
Mac Attack Charlotte NC.
Lee Sterling is by far the best handicapper I’ve ever had on my show in the 24 years on the air.His unique blend of entertaining, on air presentation, and extremely accurate picks makes him a tremendous radio radio guest. His weekly segment on the Mac Attack here in Charlotte is one of if not our most popular segments.
JT The Brick 100.9 Las Vegas Sports Network.
Lee Sterling has been a guest of mine on Fox Radio and in Las Vegas for 16 years. Each week he picks out the three high profile games to break down and predict in the NFL and college football. His success is utterly astounding!
WMSP 740 AM Montgomery AL.
Lee Sterling is a big part of our radio show. My audience has come to expect an informative and entertaining segment every time Lee is on. Lee shoots straight and tells it like it is. His predictions on my show have been incredible and I’ve documented them personally. Lee Sterling is a Winner!
Sports Radio 95.3 Eugene OR.
Lee Sterling has been a guest on my Friday night show almost from the start. The segment proves an extra spark of entertainment & information. The bottom line is Lee wins and wins big! He has a knack for spotting key facts about a team that will give them the edge. I look forward to his gig again this coming season.
SB Nation.
I’ve been working with Lee Sterling of Paramount Sports for 18 consecutive football seasons. That’s unprecedented in my career and something that is rarely seen in sports radio. Why? Because he is as entertaining on the radio as he is educated in sports gambling strategy and picking winners. As legalization spreads across the country, Lee is an important voice to help educate new markets on how to properly bet on football and other sports.
Fox Sports 1350 AM Akron OH.
There is no doubt Lee Sterling brings more to the airwaves of the Munch On Sports Show than just his incredible game predictions. Lee is “can’t miss” radio with his picks but also NCAA knowledge and overall football acumen. Lee’s segment is an important part of our fall sports programming.
What does 26 winning seasons mean to you?
Hundreds of thousands of dollars to you even if you’re just a $100-$200 bettor. Not having to feel the depression of losing.

Three Reasons Why You Should Watch The College Football Playoff National Championship.
– It’s Ohio State playing against Alabama. They’re two of the mightiest of the mighty college football programs, and at the moment – along with Clemson – they’re part of the three teams going that can reasonably set the expectations at the unrealistic national-title-or-failure level going into each campaign.
And yet, these two – and their 25 claimed national championship between them – going at it almost seems like a bit of a twist.
This was the fourth appearance in the College Football Playoff for Ohio State, it’s the sixth trip to the tournament in seven chances for Alabama, and yet in the CFP the two only met in the classic 42-35 Buckeye Sugar Bowl semifinal win in 2015.
Overall, it’s only the fifth meeting all-time with Alabama holding a 3-1 lead.
– Alabama has been unstoppable . It’s Nick Saban’s finest offense yet with a Heisman-finalist-to-Heisman-winner passing combination of QB Mac Jones and WR DeVonta Smith to go along with a running back in Najee Harris who finished sixth in the voting. How good is this attack? Arguably the team’s best player – WR Jaylen Waddle; more on him in a moment – went down early with an ankle injury, and the machine kept on rolling.
The Tide geared down in the College Football Playoff semifinal against Notre Dame, scoring 14 points out of the gate and cruising from there.
In between that and a 38-19 win over Missouri to start the season, the Tide scored 41 or more in every other game, the defense has been terrific – outside of the 52-46 SEC Championship fight with Florida and a fight with Ole Miss – and everything is in place for Saban to win his seventh national championship as a head coach. However, his 2009 team was the only one that finished a season unbeaten.
– Can Ohio State gear up the energy, emotion, and attitude again? It waited a full year to get another crack at the College Football Playoff after losing in painful fashion to Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl to end the 2019 season, and it played at a whole other level in the stunning 49-28 win in the Sugar Bowl.
Motivation can only carry a team so far – these Buckeyes have the talent, too.
Alabama might have the household, superstar names, but Ohio State has QB Justin Fields – who’s coming off his epic six-touchdown pass performance against Clemson – and it has every bit as much NFL talent as the team on the other side of the field.
The problem this year was continuity. The program could never get to 100% after a mediocre start, most of its offensive line was missing late in the year, and 22 players were out for the Big Ten Championship against Northwestern. The Clemson game was as close to normal as it’s been for these Buckeyes, and that’s the X factor in this year’s CFP.
We didn’t quite know what this team was capable of because we hadn’t seen it. It’s now all coming together at just the right time.

College football Week 2 picks against the spread for every top-25 matchup.
The ACC and Big 12 begin play in Week 2 of the college football season, and the five games involving top 25 teams feature double-digit spreads.
No. 1 Clemson and No. 5 Oklahoma — College Football Playoff participants last season — will begin their seasons, and No. 10 Notre Dame will make its ACC debut against Duke.
Sporting News will pick against the spread for every Top 25 matchup this season, but we'll throw in some other matchups through the first few weeks. Here's how we fared in Week 1:
S/U: 7-2.
ATS: 2-3.
Here's a look at our Week 2 Picks against the spread. Spreads via (BetOnline.Ag).
UAB at Miami (-16)
Houston transfer D'Eriq King makes his debut with a refurbished Hurricanes offense, and the Hurricanes have the talent advantage here. UAB has a game under its belt, however, and it might be able to hang around if it can protect the football.
Miami wins 35-24 but FAILS TO COVER the spread.
Syracuse at North Carolina (-23)
The Tar Heels are huge favorites and Syracuse allowed 30.7 points per game last season. That said, the spread looks a touch high for an ACC opener. The Orange get a back-door cover.
North Carolina wins 42-23 but FAILS TO COVER the spread.
Louisiana at Iowa State (-11.5)
The Cyclones were 2-4 ATS as home favorites last season, and Louisiana returns a talented team from 2019. The Ragin' Cajuns should hang around and make this one interesting.
Iowa State wins 38-28 but FAILS TO COVER the spread.
Video: Auburn football: 3 strengths the Tigers have for the 2020 season (SMG)
Duke at Notre Dame (-20.5)
The Irish make their ACC opener, and they were 5-2 ATS at home last season. Expect a strong performance from Ian Book, but we are intrigued by Duke transfer quarterback Chase Brice. The under (54.5) is a good bet here, too.
Notre Dame wins 37-13 and COVERS the spread.
Georgia Tech at Florida State (-13)
Mike Norvell makes his debut at Florida State, and the key will be giving James Blackman time in the pocket. Georgia Tech was 3-5 ATS in conference games last season and should be improved. It's a conference opener, so it should be a little closer than expected.
Florida State wins 31-21 but FAILS TO COVER the spread.
Clemson (-33.5) at Wake Forest.
Clemson was 8-1 ATS in conference games last season, and that included a 52-3 victory against Wake Forest. The Tigers should be all business in the opener here.
Clemson wins 52-14 and COVERS the spread.
Oklahoma (No line) vs. Missouri State.
Spencer Rattler makes his Oklahoma debut against the Bears, where Bobby Petrino is making his return to the sidelines. There should not be too much drama on the field.
Oklahoma wins 51-14.
UTEP at Texas (-43.5)
The Longhorns will flex early here, but the Miners should be able to string together a scoring drive or two after playing last week. Texas is 5-3 ATS in nonconference games under Tom Herman.
Texas wins 51-9 but FAILS TO COVER the spread.
Western Kentucky at Louisville (-12)
The Cardinals bring back a lot of offensive firepower in Scott Satterfield's second season, and this will serve as a tune-up for next week's ACC opener against Miami.
Louisville wins 40-20 and COVERS the spread.
Coastal Carolina at Kansas (-7)
The Jayhawks are a TD favorite at home against the Chanticleers, a line that has jumped from its original 3.5 mark. There is some value with the Chanticleers, but we like Les Miles to get Kansas off to a good start at home.
Kansas wins 30-20 and COVERS the spread.

College football odds, picks, predictions for Week 2, 2020: Model fading Florida State and Texas.
SportsLine's advanced computer model simulated every Week 2 college football game 10,000 times.
The first Saturday of Power Five college football has arrived. The ACC has four conference matchups, including the debut of temporary member Notre Dame, who takes on Duke at 2:30 p.m. ET. The Week 2 college football odds from William Hill give the Irish the 20-point edge in that matchup. Defending conference champion Clemson (-33) kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET against Wake Forest, while North Carolina (-22.5), a trendy pick to contend in the ACC this year, opens against Syracuse at noon ET.
Several Big 12 teams also get underway with nonconference action. Oklahoma takes on FCS-level Missouri State, while Texas (-43) faces UTEP. Where are the best values in the Week 2 college football spreads? Before making any Week 2 college football picks on those games or any others on the Week 2 schedule, be sure to see the college football predictions from the advanced computer model at SportsLine.
The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past four years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of over $3,500 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. It was a perfect 4-0 on top-rated picks in Week 1 of the 2020 college football season, including nailing Army (-3.5) with plenty of room to spare in its 42-0 blowout of MTSU. Anybody who has followed it is way up.
Now, it has turned its attention to the latest college football odds for Week 2 and locked in picks for every FBS matchup. Head to SportsLine to see every pick.
Top Week 2 college football predictions.
Collins went 3-9 in his first season with Georgia Tech, but did have upset wins over North Carolina State and Miami (FL) to his credit. The Yellow Jackets will have starting quarterback James Graham and starting running back Jordan Mason returning in their backfield and that continuity should help offensive coordinator Dave Patenaude move that unit forward in 2020.
Meanwhile, Norvell inherits a team that still has some talent but is coming off a season where it was plagued by poor offensive line play and questionable decision-making at quarterback. The model predicts that the Georgia Tech defense averages 2.46 sacks and forces a pair of turnovers on its way to covering in well over 50 percent of simulations. The under (52.5) also hits well over 60 percent of the time.
Another one of the top Week 2 college football predictions: Texas fails to cover as a 43-point home favorite against UTEP. Tom Herman welcomes quarterback Sam Ehlinger back and returns eight starters on defense, but UTEP already gained some confidence to start its 2020 season with a 24-14 win over Stephen F. Austin last week.
Deion Hankins rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns in the win while wide receiver Jacob Cowing had seven catches for 116 yards. Meanwhile, the UTEP defense only allowed 230 yards in the win.
With Texas having to score on nearly every possession and also likely to need a lot of productivity from its second unit in a game it is expected to run away with, UTEP only needs a couple of scores and a couple of stops to cover such a wide margin. The model predicts the Miners get that thanks to a couple of sacks and a Texas turnover, which is why the cover in over 50 percent of simulations with the over (58.5) also hitting well over 50 percent of the time.
How to make Week 2 college football picks.
The model also has made the call on every FBS matchup in Week 2, including a strong spread pick for Notre Dame (-20) vs. Duke. You can get picks for that game and every other over at SportsLine.
So what college football picks can you make with confidence in Week 2? And which side of the Notre Dame vs. Duke spread hits hard? Check out the latest Week 2 college football odds below, and then visit SportsLine to see which teams win and cover the spread, all from a proven computer model that has returned over $3,500 in profit over the past four seasons, and find out.

College Football Picks: Week 2 Predictions for Every Game.
Week 2 of the 2020 college football season will mark the next phase of easing our way back into the proverbial swimming pool.
It started two weeks ago with the FCS opener between Austin Peay and Central Arkansas. There were nine games involving FBS teams last weekend, but neither a ranked team nor a Power Five squad was on the docket. This week, both the ACC and Big 12 will take the field, but the SEC will not, and there's nary a contest pitting two Associated Press Top 25 teams against one another.
That might sound like a complaint, but it's actually a blessing. After months of not knowing whether there would be any football, diving straight in with a gargantuan Alabama-Georgia type of showdown would have been a shock to the senses. A little bit of limbering up before the big games is a good thing for players, fans and media alike.
And it's not like this is a pithy slate. We've got arguably the best nonconference game of the year coming up Thursday night, followed by a Saturday with at least five games in each of the early afternoon, midafternoon and evening windows. And if you can't get excited about a late-night kickoff featuring a pair of returning 1,000-yard rushers in Coastal Carolina's CJ Marable and Kansas' Pooka Williams Jr., maybe you don't love college football as much as you thought.
Game of the Week: UAB at Miami.
UAB at Miami, 8 p.m. ET Thursday (ACC Network)
UAB will certainly get some prime-time viewing from this most unusual college football season. The Blazers were the first FBS team to take the field this season, beating Central Arkansas 45-35 on Thursday. This Thursday, they'll play the only game of the night with a chance to pull off what would be one of the biggest wins in program history.
UAB is 6-50 all-time against current Power Five opponents. Two of those wins came against Baylor while the Bears were mired in a 14-year streak (1996-2009) of sub-.500 seasons. Two of the other wins were against TCU in the early 2000s while the Horned Frogs were in Conference USA. The Blazers also beat a pretty bad Mississippi State team in 2004. But they did have an impressive win over LSU in 2000—one month into Nick Saban's first season as the Tigers head coach.
Whether this would top that Y2K-era victory is an argument we can have if the upset happens, but a road win over Miami would be a massive statement for sure.
Meanwhile, the home favorite in this matchup is breaking in some key transfers and hoping to get off on the right foot after a disappointing 13-13 record over the past two seasons.
Former Houston quarterback D'Eriq King was a critical acquisition for a team that—how do we put this nicely?—has not quite excelled in the quarterback department as of late. Former Ohio State quarterback Tate Martell was supposed to be that exciting pickup last offseason, but he was never given a chance. Things should be different with King, and it should infuse Miami with the offense necessary to contend in the ACC.
The Canes also picked up the best available edge-rusher in Quincy Roche (Temple). He had 13 sacks last year and 26 over the past three years. We were initially giddy about getting to watch him line up opposite Greg Rousseau for one year, but Roche will instead replace Rousseau, who opted out.
The UAB offense looked potent in the opener against Central Arkansas, but it better eliminate the turnovers if it wants to have any chance in this one. In the first half, a UAB interception was returned to the 4-yard-line, setting up one UCA touchdown. There was a fumble returned for a touchdown before intermission. Gaffes like that against Miami would result in a blowout. I expect this one will be a little close for Canes comfort, though.
Prediction: Miami 38, UAB 27.
AP Top 10 Teams in Action.
No. 1 Clemson at Wake Forest (7:30 p.m. ET on ABC)
For a ranked team, opening the season on the road against a conference foe probably seems like a nerve-wracking proposition.
In reality, it hasn't been much of a problem of late.
No. 3 Georgia routed Vanderbilt 30-6 in Week 1 last season. No. 21 UCF stomped Connecticut 56-17 to open the 2018 regular season. And No. 20 Virginia Tech followed suit with a 24-3 victory over No. 19 Florida State a few nights later. No. 1 Ohio State got an early scare at Indiana to begin the 2017 season, but the Buckeyes cruised to a 49-21 victory. Kenny Hill led No. 21 Texas A&M to a surprise 52-28 rout at No. 9 South Carolina in 2014. And Jameis Winston and No. 11 Florida State won 41-14 at Pittsburgh in 2013.
That's six consecutive Week 1 games in which the ranked road team defeated a conference opponent by at least 21 points, and that trend should continue in Winston-Salem on Saturday night. All the same, it should be a good early look at Trevor Lawrence's new favorite targets as Clemson adjusts to life without Tee Higgins, Justyn Ross and Diondre Overton.
Prediction: Clemson 45, Wake Forest 14.
Missouri State at No. 5 Oklahoma (7 p.m. ET on Pay-Per-View)
If you want to watch this blowout, get ready to pony up $54.99 for the privilege.
The Bears went 1-10 last season. Over the past decade, they are 0-13 against FBS opponents with a combined score of 665-171. All 13 of those games were decided by at least two touchdowns — often more like six or seven touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma has won five consecutive Big 12 regular-season titles and has played in four of the past five College Football Playoffs.
The Sooners are breaking in a new quarterback (redshirt freshman Spencer Rattler) and basically an entirely new running back depth chart in a year in which offseason prep work was greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. But if Missouri State pulls off this road win, it would easily supplant Appalachian State over Michigan in 2007 for the title of most outrageous upset in college football history.
Prediction: Oklahoma 59, Missouri State 10.
Duke at No. 10 Notre Dame (2:30 p.m. ET on NBC)
Notre Dame's Ian Book threw for four touchdowns and rushed for more than 100 yards in a 38-7 road victory over Duke last November. Given the preseason expectations for these teams — Notre Dame is a College Football Playoff candidate; Duke is a strong candidate to challenge Georgia Tech for worst record in the ACC — this rematch in South Bend could be even uglier.
As with the Clemson wide receivers, though, the intriguing part of this game is getting a glimpse at Notre Dame's running back situation. Sophomore Kyren Williams — who had just four carries for 26 yards last year — has emerged as the probable starter, but C'Bo Flemister, Jafar Armstrong, Jahmir Smith and freshman Chris Tyree are all hoping an early splash against the Blue Devils could land them at No. 1 on the depth chart.
Prediction: Notre Dame 41, Duke 14.

College football betting picks for week 2.
College football’s first week is in the books and it was underwhelming to say the least. BYU annihilated Navy in the marquee matchup of the weekend while SMU struggled against Texas State. There wasn’t anything worth wagering on, but that all changes now. And we are ready with our college football betting picks for week 2.
We are picking games against the spread (ATS) and will actually be parlaying our college football betting picks for week 2. At the end of the article you can find our wager and potential payout. And, of course, you can wager on the games individually if you are so inclined.
The Touchback’s college football betting picks for week 2.
Kansas (-4) vs Coastal Carolina.
This line has actually moved to -7, but we were lucky enough to nab it at -4 on Monday. On the surface, even this may seem a little crazy. Especially considering that Coastal Carolina beat Kansas last season. However, Kansas improved under Les Miles as the season went on and they have talented players like Pooka Williams Jr. and Andrew Parchment. If you find the line under 7, take it, but avoid the game if the Jayhawks are favored by a touchdown or more.
Iowa State (-11) vs. Louisiana.
The Ragin’ Cajuns were no joke in 2019, winning 11 games and keeping things close against Mississippi State in its season opener. Meanwhile, Iowa State needed three overtimes to sneak past Northern Iowa in its first game last year. However, this is a statement game for Iowa State and Brock Purdy who need a strong showing to start off 2020. Louisiana is good. However, Iowa State should be much better.
Georgia Tech isn’t good. That being said, is Florida State that much better? Sure, there is a new coaching staff in place, but Mike Norvell hasn’t exactly hit the ground running. FSU has appeared listless for years and I’ll keep betting against them until they show me something.
Louisiana Tech is better than people give them credit for while Baylor is dealing with a coaching change. All signs point to this being a close-ish game making Tech good value here.
UTEP (42.5) vs. Texas.
Texas has cleared a 42-point margin of victory only once in the past five seasons – a 2017 encounter against San Jose State. Meanwhile UTEP has lost 22 games over the past two seasons, but none by more than 40 points. The Miners should be able to hold on here.
College football betting picks for week 2 – Parlay total.
$5 to win $124.67.
We went with the parlay on these five games and threw down a fiver on it. It’s a nice payout although there is a lot risk of betting on college football games in week two.

Fantasy Football: Top 5 differential picks ahead of GW20.
A huge DGW19 saw many differential players shine last week. The likes of James Maddison, John Stones and Michail Antonio all proved to be solid picks who scored highly.
However, looking ahead in GW20, we are back to a normal week with 10 Premier League matches. Favourable fixtures lie ahead for several sides as we look at five differential options for you and your fantasy teams.
With Tuesday's deadline fast approaching, these cheap picks with low ownership will help you stand out in your mini-leagues.
Bernardo Silva - Manchester City (£7.4m)
Man City are arguably the most in-form team right now and have a great fixture against West Brom coming up. West Brom have the worst defensive record in the Premier League and face a rampant City side who have scored 10 goals in their last four league games.
With Kevin De Bruyne now out with a hamstring injury for the next 4-6 weeks, City's midfield will need to step up if they want to keep their run of form going. Silva has started their last six league games and grabbed his first goal of the season against Aston Villa last week.
Owned by only 0.9% of players, he is a great differential option instead of opting for Ilkay Gundogan (£5.5m) or Phil Foden (£6.3m), who are already owned by many.
Silva is undoubtedly a player who is looking to get back to his best. After a quiet campaign so far, this could be the time to put faith in Silva to fill the void that De Bruyne has left.
Bukayo Saka - Arsenal (£5.3m)
Arsenal's resurgence in the league continues away at Southampton, as they look to get revenge following a 1-0 loss to the Saints in the FA Cup on Saturday. Despite their poor performance, the Gunners are still unbeaten in their last six league games and a large part of it is down to Bukayo Saka.
The 19-year-old has been in great form this season and is of incredible value at £5.3m. He has scored three goals and produced two assists in his last five games - including one against Newcastle United last weekend.
Despite being owned by 10.3% of owners, Saka remains at the heart of Arsenal's attack. He was rested in their FA Cup game before being forced to come on as an impact sub for the last half-an-hour.
Arsenal have needed more attacking flair this year and Saka has been the one to bring it for them. He is definitely a good, cheap option for GW20.
Vladimir Coufal - West Ham United (4.7m)
West Ham right-back Vladimir Coufal has been in impressive form since he signed for the club at the start of the season. The Czech international has been an integral part of West Ham's excellent campaign, which has put them 7th in the league table.
They are now unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions, keeping five clean sheets during that spell. They will face a struggling Crystal Palace side that have only won one game in their last nine in all competitions.
Coufal, who is owned by 7.4% of FPL managers, has also produced four assists this season including one last week against West Brom.
While West Ham's alternative full-back option, Aaron Cresswell, is owned by 18.7% of managers, Coufal is a great differential option as they look to earn another clean sheet on the road.
Edinson Cavani - Manchester United (£7.8m)
Man United striker Edinson Cavani has been a top signing for Solskjaer so far this season. He has only started four league games but has already scored four goals and produced two assists.
Cavani, who is owned by only 3.6% of FPL managers, put in a solid display and scored against Fulham in their 2-1 win last week.
Now that he has found his feet in the Premier League, Cavani could start more games and may be chosen from the off against Sheffield United. The Blades own one of the worst defensive records in the league, conceding 32 goals already.
United, on the other hand, are still at the top of the table and will look to continue their good run of form with an attacking display against a side that has only won once all season.
Bertrand Traore - Aston Villa (£5.9m)
After a tough 2-0 loss to Man City, Aston Villa put in a commanding performance to beat Newcastle by the same scoreline last weekend. Bertrand Traore was one of their top performers in that match, grabbing a goal himself.
Traore is beginning to find his feet in this Villa team after arriving from Lyon for £17m in the summer. He has now scored four goals in his last six games and is one of the first names on the team sheet.
Only owned by a surprising 0.6% of FPL managers, Traore is a great differential option. Where 36.6% of managers have opted for his teammate Jack Grealish, Traore can still give you valuable attacking returns.
Villa will travel to an in-form Burnley side who became the first side to beat Liverpool at Anfield in the league since April 2017 last week. However, Villa have been a good side this season and Traore will be important to their hopes of climbing further up the table.

2020 Fantasy Football Top-100 Rankings: Breaking down No. 1 through 10.
We're kicking off our breakdown of the top-100 players in Fantasy at the top, with the top-10 players off the board in 2020.
If you get the No. 1 pick in 2020, you can breathe easy, because you've got the easiest decision anyone will make on Draft Day. Don't get cute: Take Christian McCaffrey. He was head and shoulders above everyone else in 2019, and was the No. 2 Fantasy RB in 2018 — his floor is somewhere between the top of the rankings and the history books.
Of course, your first-round pick usually isn't one you'll have to sweat. You don't want to make the wrong pick, sure, but it's really hard to do that with the kind of talent you're looking at at the top. The elite players in Fantasy aren't just that because of their upside — it's also because it's hard to see how things could really go wrong for them.
Of course, things could go wrong for any one of them, just as easily as things could go right. As you get ready for the 2020 Fantasy season, the best place to start is by getting to know the player pool, and the best way to do that is to dive into Heath Cummings' breakdown of our top-100 players for 2020. He'll make the case for and against each player, so that when you get ready to pick, you can make up your own mind.
Read about No. 1-10 below, and get to know the rest of the top-100 players here:

NFL DFS for 2021 Super Bowl: Top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy football picks, stacks, strategy.
SportsLine's Mike McClure, a DFS pro with almost $2M in winnings, gives optimal lineup advice.
Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes have been among the most popular NFL DFS picks all season, leading their respective teams through the playoffs to face each other in the 2021 Super Bowl. Should you invest in the 43-year-old Brady, who is trying to win a record seventh Super Bowl ring, or should you build your NFL DFS stacks around Mahomes, the defending Super Bowl MVP?
Choosing between Brady and Mahomes is just one of many parts of your NFL DFS strategy to address on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel. So, how should you formulate winning Super Bowl DFS lineups? Before making any NFL DFS picks and NFL DFS stacks for the 2021 Super Bowl, be sure to see the latest NFL DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy football picks from SportsLine's Mike McClure, a DFS pro who has won almost $2 million.
McClure crushed his NFL DFS picks in 2019, finishing as high as the top 1 percent of tournaments on DraftKings and returning as much as 40x return in some higher-stakes tournaments. He then continued his roll in the postseason, cashing on every single lineup he posted for the divisional round. Anyone who followed him saw some huge returns.
In Championship Weekend, McClure had Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill as one of his top NFL DFS picks on DraftKings. The result: Hill caught nine passes for 172 yards, returning over 26 Fantasy points on both sites! Anybody who had him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.
Now, McClure has turned his attention to Super Bowl 55 and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.
Top NFL DFS picks for Super Bowl 55.
One of McClure's top NFL DFS picks for Super Bowl 55 is Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. He is quickly becoming one of the most dominant tight ends of all time, becoming a unanimous All-Pro selection. He set career-highs with 105 receptions, 1,416 receiving yards, and 11 touchdowns this season despite sitting out Week 17 to rest up for the playoff run.
Kelce's exceptional play has continued into the Chiefs' run back to the Super Bowl. He hauled in eight passes for 109 yards and a touchdown against the Browns and then erupted for 13 catches for 118 yards and two more TDs against the Bills in the AFC Championship Game. Kelce's play against Buffalo generated almost 40 points on DraftKings and signaled that he will be a 60-minute problem for Tampa Bay in Super Bowl LV.
Part of McClure's optimal NFL DFS strategy also includes rostering Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin. He went off on Green Bay in the NFC Championship Game, catching five passes for 110 yards. He has 14 receptions for 223 yards and a touchdown in the 2021 NFL Playoffs to help send Tampa Bay back to the Super Bowl.
The fourth-year pro from Penn State caught 65 passes for 840 yards and seven touchdowns during the regular season despite missing four games due to a concussion and broken finger. Although that was a step down from Godwin's 86-catch, 1,333-yard effort from 2019, he still proved to be one of quarterback Tom Brady's primary targets. McClure believes that trend will continue in Super Bowl LV.
How to set NFL DFS lineups for Super Bowl 55.
McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers on Super Bowl Sunday because of a dream matchup. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is here.

Mike Golic Predicts The College Football Playoff Final 4.
We’re less than 24 hours from knowing which four teams will be competing in this year’s College Football Playoff. As such, some predictions are starting to come in from analysts.
Notre Dame alum Mike Golic, who has been calling some college football games this year, took to Twitter after Clemson’s decisive victory over the Fighting Irish to make a prediction. He still has Notre Dame in the playoff.
We assume that Golic’s prediction assumes that Alabama knocks off Florida for the SEC title on Saturday night.
Golic has Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and Notre Dame as the four teams. Texas A&M supporters won’t be thrilled to see it.
My prediction of who the committee will choose as their final 4. 1) Bama 2) Clemson 3) Ohio St. 4) ND — Mike Golic (@espngolic) December 20, 2020.
Golic clarified that this is who he thinks the committee will put in – not who he thinks should be in.
No, I said it’s who I think the committee will pick, I have nothing to do with the committee — Mike Golic (@espngolic) December 20, 2020.
Golic is probably right. Notre Dame looked outclassed on Saturday night, but there isn’t really another team that has a resume on par with the Fighting Irish. Notre Dame did still finish with a 10-1 record and a win over Clemson, which is a top-two team.
Texas A&M’s best win is over Florida. Oklahoma finished with two losses despite winning the Big 12. And Cincinnati just doesn’t have the strength of schedule to make an argument.
We’ll see what happens on Sunday, but Golic probably nailed both the four teams and the order they’ll be ranked in.

Mike Golic expects NFL teams to call Jim Harbaugh this year.
The future looks really uncertain for Jim Harbaugh at Michigan. At 2-3 heading into the game against Penn State, Harbaugh’s Wolverines were definitely below expectations in 2020.
With just one year left on his deal, Harbaugh’s future with Michigan is murky but it appears he has options should he not return to Michigan after this season or even 2021. In fact, college football analyst Mike Golic thinks Harbaugh could be headed back to the NFL.
Golic believes since there’s no sign of a contract extension for Harbaugh at the moment, the NFL could come knocking before the coach even gets a chance to coach and recruit on the last year of his deal with the Wolverines.
“I don't think there's any doubt,” Golic said on the ESPN broadcast of Michigan-Penn State of Harbaugh returning to the NFL. “I think NFL teams will come after him. They know what he did when he was in the NFL. There's going to be things in play here. One more year on his deal. You don't go into the last year of your deal. That's horrible for recruiting. You can't have a lame duck coach in his last year and expect to get those recruits. I would expect an NFL team to come calling and say does Jim want to take that? If not, does Michigan extend him so you’re not on a coach in his last year of his deal in the Big Ten?”
The big question is, where would Harbaugh go should he return to the NFL? Well one organization appears to have a coaching vacancy in the future.
The NFL's only winless team, the Jets haven't yet moved on from coach Adam Gates, but that's the expectation at some point inside the organization writes New York Post columnist Brian Costello.
"Harbaugh checks a lot of boxes," Costello wrote this week. "He has been a head coach before. He took the 49ers from laughingstock to Super Bowl team. He is a quarterback expert, having played the position in the NFL and coached it. The Jets have flirted with Harbaugh before, but the timing has not been right. The timing feels right this time and it could be a match.
Costello says while Harbaugh's inability to develop a quarterback at Michigan is worrisome, he has had good quarterback play in the NFL. And if he were to get the job in New York, Harbaugh would likely have projected No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence to groom as his franchise player, ala Andrew Luck at Stanford.
“As for Jim Harbaugh….a lot of Michigan folks view it as a foregone conclusion that Jim Harbaugh is going to be out,” Pate said . “I do not believe that. I still don't believe that. I don’t think that's founded in anything tangible. Not let me slow down, let me tell you what I didn’t just say. I did not say I agree with that mentality of keeping him around no matter what. I agree with you guys. If you're a Michigan fan saying ‘man it's just not happening, we don't think Jim Harbaugh is the answer,’ the climb back seems to be insurmountable. It's the free fall. You're not even climbing, you're free falling. that's what Michigan feels like right now.
“If you feel that way, I'd be right there with you. The folks who are ultimately tasked with making this decision do not value football equal to that of other major programs in your own conference, let alone America. Some things will never change. Short of a mutual separation between Jim Harbaugh and the University of Michigan, I don’t think a change is going to be made…
“I don't think a change is going to be initiated by Michigan….Michigan’s not making a move in season. (If they do), they would certainly prove not only me, but many people close to that program wrong.”

Mike Golic says he's not retiring even after ESPN contract ends.
The new ESPN Radio lineup has officially kicked off on Monday, with Keyshawn, Jay and Zubin starting their new morning show that replaced Golic & Wingo .
Even though Mike Golic could sleep in on Monday, he spent the morning tweeting as various people reached out, many of whom saying they missed hearing his voice after over two decades in the national timeslot.
And he’s telling the world that even when his ESPN contract is up at the end of the year, retirement isn’t happening.
First, he classily wished Keyshawn Johnson, Jay Williams and Zubin Mehenti luck on their first morning on the air:
Best of luck to Zubin @RealJayWilliams and @keyshawn as they start their morning show journey. — Mike Golic (@espngolic) August 17, 2020.
Then, there was this reply when asked what was next for him (which we knew already was doing college football for ESPN):
CFB if there is any, under contract until the end of the year….. then we will see, not retiring though — Mike Golic (@espngolic) August 17, 2020.

Mike Golic Jr. on emotional final 'Golic & Wingo' episode: 'I foolishly thought I wouldn't cry'
And some other replies, including why he’s up so early:
Haha….. still working on the sleeping in part, at least for now — Mike Golic (@espngolic) August 17, 2020.

Mike Golic said goodbye to ESPN Radio after 22 years on Friday. While signing off from his basement — surrounded by his family — the former NFL player sounded at peace after his incredible run. Still, he wishes his bosses had been the ones to break the bad news to him.
“Unfortunately, the tough time this time around is I basically heard it was ending through the media. which, to me, isn’t the best way to find something out,” Golic said on the “That’s What She Said” podcast with Sarah Spain.
“I don’t think that’s the right way. But they didn’t ask me, so what I thought was the right way, it’s business. At the end of the day, it’s business. I’ve always said this about this about football and it’s true in anything, you’ve got to be careful at taking things too personally.”
Golic was hoping the show he pioneered with Mike Greenberg would go on even if it was without Wingo.
“Whether Trey wanted to do that or not, to me, wasn’t the issue,” Golic said. “If he didn’t want to do it, and it was going to change, I thought, well I should still be on the show, and let’s just change it.”
Golic’s run ended on emotional note, as his son Mike who has been a co-host on the program, started crying. His father soon joined him as he signed off.
Earlier in the month, Golic said he was on vacation when The Post reported ESPN was ending his show with Trey Wingo.

The end of an ESPN era.
“I go away on vacation, what the hell happens? Oh my God. I come back and all of a sudden there’s an expiration date,” Golic said then. “It certainly was not my choice. I would’ve loved to have kept doing the show, but listen, I didn’t want to be cut by the Houston Oilers. I didn’t want to be cut by the Miami Dolphins. Sometimes what you want and what happens isn’t the same.”
Golic, 57, will remain a college football analyst with ESPN, and previously stated his desire to continue working.
“I’m not retiring. I’m too young to retire. My wife won’t let me,” Golic said. “I’m still going to stay in the business. This was management’s choice to do it. Just like coaches, they have every right to do what they want to do. I would love to keep doing it, but not in the cards right now. We’ll see where it goes.”

Week 13 NFL picks, best bets from a legendary expert: This three-way football parlay pays out 6-1.
Hammerin' Hank Goldberg just locked in his top Week 13 NFL parlay.
NFL bettors have been riding the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals to profits all season, as the Rams are 7-4 against the spread, while the Cardinals are 7-3-1. The two AFC West rivals meet for the first time in Week 13, with Rams favored by three in the latest NFL odds. Meanwhile, action will be pouring in on a marquee matchup between two division leaders on Sunday Night Football when the Patriots (-3) visit the Texans. New England is 1-2 against the spread in its last three games, while Houston is 1-3 against the number in its last four. So which Week 13 NFL spreads should you target? Make sure to see the NFL best bets from legendary handicapper Hammerin' Hank Goldberg before you make your Week 13 NFL predictions.
This is the same handicapper who enjoyed 15 winning seasons in his 17-year ESPN run. In 2017, Hammer competed against 10 top handicappers in the Las Vegas Review-Journal's NFL Challenge and beat them all, finishing 50-29-6 on against-the-spread picks. Anyone who has followed him has consistently beaten NFL odds and finished way up.
Now, Hammer has locked in his top three NFL Week 13 picks. Head to SportsLine to see them. We can tell you that Goldberg was all over the Colts to cover against the Titans earlier in the week when they were favored by 2.5. Now, he's seeing even more value now with the line down to Colts -1.
It's a critical AFC South matchup and the Colts have been automatic against divisional opponents lately. In fact, Indianapolis has covered its last seven games against AFC South rivals.
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has played well as the Titans' starter, with a 114.9 QB rating since taking over. However, Hammer doesn't trust him in a critical game this late in the season, and for good reason: his December quarterback rating hasn't been higher than 86.9 since 2014.
Goldberg also has locked in two more confident picks, including a huge play fading the public. The line is way off in that game, Hammer said. He's only sharing who to back at SportsLine.

NFL picks: Predictions for Minnesota Vikings vs. Seattle Seahawks | Monday Night Football, Week 13.
Russell Wilson will lead the Seahawks vs. the Vikings on Monday Night Football. AP.
Week 13 of the 2019 NFL season will feature a marquee Monday Night Football game on Monday, December 2, 2019 when the Minnesota Vikings take on the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington.
Kickoff is slated for 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The Vikings are led by head coach Mike Zimmer, quarterback Kirk Cousins and running back Dalvin Cook. Minnesota comes in with an 8-3 record after a Week 12 bye.
The Seahawks are led by head coach Pete Carroll, quarterback Russell Wilson, and running back Chris Carson. Seattle comes in with a 9-2 record after a Week 12 win over the Eagles.
Here’s how our experts see the game playing out.
Zack Rosenblatt : The Seahawks were sloppy against the Eagles, but they’re still in the running to overtake the 49ers in the NFC. The Vikings have won six of seven, though, as Kirk Cousins has recovered from a slow start to the season. Minnesota deals Seattle a blow to its first-round bye hopes. Vikings 31, Seahawks 21.
Matt Lombardo : Russell Wilson might be the MVP. The Seahawks defense returned to form Sunday against the Eagles. That’s bad news for Kirk Cousins and the Vikings. Seahawks 23, Vikings 17.
Mike Kaye : The Seahawks are surging, despite their too-close-for-comfort win over the Eagles. While the Vikings are one of the better teams in the NFC, it’s tough to win in Seattle. Seahawks 26, Vikings 23 .
Buy Giants-Eagles tickets: StubHub, SeatGeek.

NFL Week 13 picks, odds, how to watch, stream: Lamar Jackson leads Ravens past 49ers, Steelers upset Browns.
Jackson will further strengthen his MVP argument with a win over the NFC's best team.
Not bad, but not good enough.
That's how I'm summing up my Week 12 NFL picks and predictions . While a 10-4 mark is nothing to sneeze at, I failed to match the success I had the previous week , when I nailed 12 of my 14 Week 11 picks. The Texans, Jets, Seahawks and Titans were among the teams that rewarded my faith in them, but the Patriots and 49ers made me look foolish for picking them to fall to inferior teams at home.
Before we get into this week's picks, I want to wish everyone a great -- and safe -- Thanksgiving. Enjoy the turkey, the stuffing, the pumpkin pie, and of course, the football.
Ready or not, here are my NFL Week 13 picks and predictions.
Chicago (5-6) at Detroit (3-7-1)
Thursday, 12:30 p.m. ET (Fox, fuboTV , try for free) Point spread: Bears -1.
After initially leaning toward the Lions, I'm reversing field and going with the Bears on the strength of their fourth ranked scoring defense. Chicago's offense, a unit that has struggled for much of the season, should be able to have just enough success against a Detroit defense that is 30th in pass defense and 24th against the run.
The pick: Bears 24, Lions 21.
Buffalo (8-3) at Dallas (6-5)
Thursday, 4:30 p.m. ET ( CBS, CBS All Access ) Point spread: Dallas -7.
After a tough loss in Foxboro, the Cowboys respond with their first win this season over a team with a winning record. Dallas will ride the legs of Ezekiel Elliott, who rushed for 86 yards on 21 carries against New England's vaunted defense. Elliott should help open things up for Dak Prescott, who will need a nice game to strengthen his MVP consideration.
The pick: Cowboys 27, Bills 20.
The Ravens dominated the Rams for their seventh straight win, and there's a lot to go over. Will Brinson and the Pick Six Podcast Superfriends break everything down from the game and much more. Listen below and be sure to subscribe for daily NFL goodness fired into your eardrums.
New Orleans (9-2) at Atlanta (3-8)
Thursday, 8:30 p.m. ET (NBC, fuboTV , try for free) Point spread: Saints -7.
The Saints are coming off an ugly home win over the Panthers, while the Falcons -- after two straight wins -- came back to earth in a home loss to the Buccaneers. Expect a big day from quarterback Drew Brees, who will be going up against the NFL's 27th ranked pass defense.
The pick: Saints 31, Falcons 24.
Green Bay (8-3) at New York Giants (2-9)
1 p.m. ET (Fox, fuboTV , try for free) Point spread: Packers -6.5.
Green Bay, coming off its worst loss of the season, will rebound on the road against a Giants team that has lost seven straight games. A week after facing the 49ers' formidable defense, Aaron Rodgers and company will look to take advantage of a Giants defense that is 26th in the NFL against the pass and 22nd against the run. New York has also allowed 28 points per game, the 29th highest total in football.
The pick: Packers 28, Giants 21.
Washington (2-9) at Carolina (5-6)
1 p.m. ET ( CBS, CBS All Access ) Point spread: Panthers -10.
The Panthers, losers of three straight games, will try to get back to .500 with a win over Washington, who on Sunday won their first game with Dwayne Haskins as a starter. While the Redskins are coming into Charlotte with momentum, Christian McCaffrey will propel the Panthers to a win while keeping his team's faint playoff hopes alive. I do see Haskins having success in this game, specifically when throwing to fellow rookie and former college teammate, Terry McLaurin, who leads the Redskins with five touchdown receptions.
The pick: Panthers 34, Redskins 21.
San Francisco (10-1) at Baltimore (9-2)
1 p.m. EST (Fox, fuboTV , try for free) Point spread: Ravens -4.
San Francisco has struggled with mobile quarterbacks this season. Cardinals rookie Kyler Murray had two impressive games against them, while Russell Wilson handed the 49ers their only loss. I don't think San Francisco will fare any better against the NFL's most versatile quarterback in Lamar Jackson, who will strengthen his case to be the league's MVP by handing San Francisco its second loss.
The pick: Ravens 24, 49ers 20.
Tennessee (6-5) at Indianapolis (6-5)
1 p.m. ET ( CBS, CBS All Access ) Point spread: Colts -2.5.
The Titans, who lost to the Colts back in Week 2, are 4-1 with Ryan Tannehill as their starting quarterback. While I'm tempted to go with the Colts at home, I'll ride the hot hand and pick the Titans in a game that could determine which of these two teams will challenge Houston for the AFC South division crown during the final month of the regular season.
The pick: Titans 19, Colts 17.
Philadelphia (5-6) at Miami (2-9)
1 p.m. EST (Fox, fuboTV , try for free) Point spread: Eagles -8.
While the Dolphins are no longer a guaranteed win, I don't see the Eagles -- who are desperate after losing at home to the Seahawks -- losing in Miami. Expect Philadelphia to pound the ball against the league's 31st ranked run defense, which should led to some nice numbers for running back Miles Sanders, who replaced an injured Jordan Howard in the starting lineup last week. I also expect the Eagles to give some carries to Jay Ajayi, who will be going up against his former team for the first time.
The pick: Eagles 24, Dolphins 13.
Tampa Bay (4-7) at Jacksonville (4-7)
1 p.m. EST (Fox, fuboTV , try for free) Point spread: Jaguars -1.5.
Two years removed from boasting the NFL's best defense, the Jaguars now have one of the NFL's worst defensive units after allowing 75 points over the past two games. Unless they can force Jameis Winston into some poor decisions, I don't see the Jaguars defeating a Buccaneers team that has played well since their Week 7 bye.
The pick: Buccaneers 31, Jaguars 23.
New York Jets (4-7) at Cincinnati (0-11)
1 p.m. ET ( CBS, CBS All Access ) Point spread: Jets -4.5.
Le'Veon Bell has yet to rush for over 100 yards during his first year with the Jets. That should change on Sunday, as Bell -- who has two career 100-yard games against the Bengals -- will go up against a Bengals defense that allowed Steelers rookie Benny Snell to rush for 98 yards in last Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh.
The pick: Jets 23, Bengals 14.
Cleveland (5-6) at Pittsburgh (6-5)
1 p.m. ET ( CBS, CBS All Access ) Point spread: Browns -1.5.
The Browns should beat the Steelers on Sunday, two weeks after defeating Pittsburgh by 14 points at home on "Thursday Night Football." Cleveland, with Kareem Hunt in the lineup, has won three straight games, as the Browns' offense is starting to play up to its potential. That being said, I believe the Steelers' defense will have success forcing turnovers against the Browns and Baker Mayfield, who has thrown nearly as many interceptions (13) as touchdown passes (14) this season. Pittsburgh will need another solid day from rookie running back Benny Snell (98 yards on 21 carries) if James Conner's injured shoulder keeps him on the shelf for another week.
The pick: Steelers 16, Browns 14.
Los Angeles Rams (6-5) at Arizona (3-7-1)
4:05 p.m. (Fox, fuboTV , try for free) Point spread: Rams -3.5.
The reeling Rams are the perfect Week 13 opponent for the Cardinals, who will be fresh coming off their Week 12 bye. Fans should expect strong performances by quarterback Kyler Murray and running back Kenyan Drake, who combined to rush for 134 yards and a score in Arizona's near upset of the 49ers in Week 11.
The pick: Cardinals 21, Rams 20.
Oakland (6-5) at Kansas City (7-4)
4:25 p.m. ET ( CBS, CBS All Access ) Point spread: Chiefs -9.5.
A week after getting punched in the mouth by the Jets, I think the Raiders will put up a fight in Kansas City against a Chiefs team that is 30th in the NFL against the run. That being said, I'm riding with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, who should be fresh and ready for their stretch run after having a late bye.
The pick: Chiefs 28, Raiders 24.
Los Angeles Chargers (4-7) at Denver (3-8)
4:25 p.m. ET ( CBS, CBS All Access ) Point spread: Chargers -2.
In a game between two evenly matched teams, I'll go with the Broncos at home against a Chargers team that in the midst of a disappointing season. Phillip Rivers and the Chargers are capable of beating the Broncos on the road, but I believe Denver's second ranked red zone defense will be the difference against the Chargers' 26th ranked red zone offense.
The pick: Broncos 17, Chargers 16.
New England (10-1) at Houston (7-4)
8:20 p.m. EST (NBC) Point spread: Patriots -3.
As much as I'd like to pick Deshaun Watson and the Texans at home, Houston's inability to get to the quarterback (they're 29th in the NFL in sacks), along with their defense's 31st and 32nd league standings in third down and red zone defense, are the main reasons why I'm rolling with Tom Brady and the Patriots this week. Oh, the Patriots' top-ranked defense isn't a bad reason to pick them, either.
The pick: Patriots 27, Texans 20.
Minnesota (8-3) at Seattle (9-2)
Monday, 8:15 p.m. (ESPN) Point spread: Seahawks -3.
In a game between two of the NFC's top teams, I'm going with the Seahawks at home while continuing to put the pressure on the 49ers for the NFC West division crown. Kirk Cousins should have success throwing against Seattle's 29th ranked pass defense, but I don't see him out-dueling Russell Wilson, who is among the front-runners to take home the league's MVP award. Third downs will be key in this game, as Minnesota's ninth ranked third down offense will be going up against Seattle's ninth ranked third down defense. This one's going to be good.
The pick: Seahawks 23, Vikings 20.
